This Vietnamese quick-serve eatery serves bánh mì sandwiches, pho, bubble tea & smoothies. Located inside the Perimeter of Atlanta off Buford Highway in Doraville, Quôc Húóng is a gathering place where friends, family and neighbors come for generous portions at a great price. Their bánh mì sandwiches are around $2.50 each. The bread is soft yet still strong enough to keep the fresh ingredients contained until the last bite. The veggies are fresh and crunchy with just enough cilantro not to overpower everything else. Their tofu is firm and has a good texture. The shredded chicken was tender and flavorful. The BBQ Pork is a must-try. They also serve Pho noodle soups around $7 each.
Quôc Húóng is a quaint restaurant serving quick Vietnamese cuisine in a relaxed setting. They won Creative Loafing’s Best of Atlanta 2010 for Best Bahn Mi. The only downside is Quôc Húóng is cash only.
