Below the giant Killer Burgers neon signage, you’ll find Grindhouse Killer Burgers. They are the winners of Best Veggie Burger in Atlanta by Creative Loafing, and the highly coveted Chomp & Stomp Chili Competition. Gindhouse served its first customer in 2009, inside the Sweet Auburn Curb Market in downtown Atlanta. The concept was who had been working to jump start the revitalization of Atlanta’s historic indoor public market.
In 2011, Grindhouse expanded with the opening of its second, “flagship” 100+ seat location on Piedmont Avenue, a converted fueling station. On the weekends, customers line up for these burgers; sometimes spilling out on to the covered patio and parking lot. It offers a full bar featuring its now infamous Boozy Shakes. Don’t miss the campy B-movies and Kung Fu flicks projecting on the subway tile walls
Some of the menu’s highlights: fresh ground beef, turkey, or veggie burgers, house made onion rings, shakes and fries. Grindhouse is a great place to get some of Atlanta’s best burgers in one of the most unique and fun atmospheres in the city. Don’t forget to try the boozy shakes. Cheers!
