Flats inspires foodies to open up their taste buds and experience flavors inspired from across the world. Situation in downtown Atlanta near the Ferris wheel, is a great spot for a quick bite while visiting one of the tourist attractions like The Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park and the CNN Center. Flats started with the vision of two brothers to create a fast and fresh food option that can be enjoyed by everyone. A personal flatbread favorite is the Carne Verde Flatbread, which is their original crust pasted with pesto, packed with braised short rib, and then topped with mozzarella, spinach, and jalapeños for a little extra pop.

They also offer fresh juices with simple ingredients that are easy to pronounce. The Red Juice, with beets, red apple, carrots, pineapple, lime, ginger, honey, is refreshingly delicious, my favorite, and purple! A close second would be the Fresh Mint Juice, which includes… wait for it…. fresh mint as well as pineapple and lime. My only caution with the juices is to be open to varying quality depending on the person doing the juicing. I’ve been a few times, and one of them the consistency of the juice was mostly froth, and did not taste very good. While the food is delicious also be wary of long lines and limited seating.

Overall, Flats is a cozy restaurant with a unique combination of offerings that leave you satisfied and looking forward to your next visit. Flatten your perspective on food and indulge in a unique selection of eleven signature flatbreads, paninis, fresh juices, and more.
